I’m drawn to the moments you don’t plan, the laughter between poses, the quiet touches, the way you look at each other when no one else is watching. With a balance of guidance and storytelling, I create imagery that feels honest, artistic, and meant to last for generations.

"I can’t thank Ell enough for all the work she’s put in for me in making my wedding day everything I ever wanted and more!
Not perfection, but presence.
The glances, the stillness, the quiet in-between moments that speak louder than words. My work is rooted in storytelling, the kind that feels like a timeless film. I blend romantic, old-world elegance with an editorial edge, creating imagery that is both deeply emotional and visually refined.
Yes, I’ll absolutely capture a few traditional portraits (because we all need those for grandma), but the heart of my work lives in connection, the way he looks at you when you’re not watching, the gentle brush of hands, the laughter that lives between the quiet.
I won’t pose you stiffly or make you feel like you have to perform. Instead, I’ll guide you with intention, creating space for something real to unfold.
Because when you look back at your gallery, I don’t want you to just see your wedding day,
I want you to feel it.
The way his hand held yours.
The crack in your voice during your vows.
The golden light wrapping around you like a memory.
This is wedding photography that is romantic, cinematic, and forever timeless.
Let’s create something beautiful together.
Originally from South Africa and now based in New Jersey, my work is inspired by old-world romance, editorial storytelling, and the fleeting nature of time.
I believe your love deserves to be remembered not just in photographs, but as heirlooms, images that feel like stills from a film, meant to be passed down for generations.
My love for photography didn’t begin with a camera, it began with a photograph.
This one, to be exact. My grandmother on her wedding day, smiling as she climbed into a car, while my grandfather stood nearby. It lived in their home for as long as I can remember. I must have passed it a hundred times as a child, yet somehow, it always made me pause. There was something so timeless, so quietly beautiful about it.
But what stayed with me wasn’t just the photograph—it was the way they loved each other long after that day. Soft, steady, and deeply respectful. The kind of love that didn’t need grand gestures to be felt. That’s the love I grew up witnessing. The kind that lingers. The kind that lasts.
And that’s what I look for in every couple I photograph.
